At South Wales Transformers, our Oil-Filled Distribution Transformers are engineered to deliver reliable, efficient, and long-lasting power solutions for medium voltage network applications. We specialise in the design and manufacture of oil-filled distribution transformers optimised for maximum efficiency and low noise levels. Our transformers utilise high-quality cellulose (Kraft paper) insulation systems as standard, with Thermally Upgraded Paper (TUP) insulation available upon request for applications requiring enhanced thermal performance, in accordance with IEC 60076-14.

Our range offers both On-Load Tap Changing (OLTC) and De-Energised Tap Changing (DETC) options, providing flexibility to suit a wide variety of network configurations and customer requirements. All units are supplied in a Ground Mounted configuration, carefully dimensioned to ensure seamless integration into substations and kiosks.
